After much delibiration we decide to go to Blunder to find out what is going on with this Sensei Loki and the story of Freya Deepmire being the mother of Ymir Deepmire
We catch up to Freya Deepmire, she hoped we would follow her. Eventually we come up to a side where a big dome of fog raises. This is Blunder. Freya Deepmire tells us this is called the spirit of the mist. You will lose track after some time. The spirit will call you closer so you can't get out. She shows us a wristband from a bat. This charm will make it so the mist has less impact on the wearer.
We search the surroundings, we find a bat, a mole and a trashed bone. Dazzle throws up a hairball that he uses as a charm.
While in the mist we notice a pressing badness around us. We seem to be unable to communicate to each other. Even a message spell doesn't seem to work. At some point Iro and Gribkoan are taken by what ever this mist does. And Iro and Gribkoan run off. They manage to shake the feeling and we manage to reach Blunder. The mist is almost gone. The mist only has a few whisps floating around. Everyone here wears a charm against it.
Small child tells us to speak to Captain Lock Raven
She knows Loki, the old guy living at the edge of Blunder
King Oak doesn't do much. Captain Lock Raven likes to take over leadership but he needs to get rid of the mist first.
The child thinks there is open air behind the mist. They don't know that they might be in the Underdark
We go to the house where Loki is living. Freya Deepmire kicks in the door. Freya demands Loki to explain what happened to her daughter.
Loki tells us he recognises Ymir Deepmire. She was given into his care. He tells us there is one problem. Ymir is little. She is not like her dad.
Loki lies about dumping Ymir because he was not successful.
Blunder has a big power, a well of water that makes you forget everything.
He made Ymir drink and send her into the mist and hoped she died.
Loki tells us a SECRET.
The spirit of the Mist is a hag. Captain Lock Raven is trying to get rid of the mist, but doesn't know yet it's a hag.
Freya likes to kill Loki but Iro and Raxlin manage to talk her out of it. We point out that she needs to give Ymir some space.
We travel to the market, where we expect the Captain Lock Raven to be. The stall sell mainly root vegetables. Guards spot us and they take us to Captain Lock Raven.
After we go to a private chamber with Captain Lock Raven he tells us that King Oak has no control over the mist and does nothing to set the people free. Captain Lock Raven likes to give his people freedom. This might implicate some people might not survive the Underdark. We discuss our plan of luring the hag out of the mist so we can deal with her.
We go to the King. And a plinth sits a very fat human. The crown is way to small for him.
Iro announces the arrival of Raxlin Embersnout.
King Oak doesn't agree he is magnificent. We try to bullshit but he doesn't take anything. He is one big bullshit. Shouting he is going to manage getting rid of the mist.
We decide to ask Loki how he got in contact with the hag. He is no longer home. We follow his tracks and hear him speaking / shouting to the wall of mist to let him inside. Raxlin summons his hag and we get closer. Malga is the name of the hag that made the mist.
Loki tells that we know about the wells. Another voice booms whether they know about the wells... A tunnel appears in the mist. We follow Loki and enter the mist.
While traveling through the tunnel 6 humanoids jump us. These are villagers that were send into the mist. We try to snap them out of their trance. We manage to do so. Captain Lock Raven, Freya and Gribkoan take them outside of the mist.
By burning food, we manage to point Gribkoan back to us.
Traveling further the tunnel moves with us. We finally reach a big bubble in the mist. In it we find a moss covered dank place with a 30 foot wide well. It stinks. A hag raises up from the well.
She tells us the city is from her. She is protecting the city from the Underdark. My treasure is here and she will protect it. With the treasure she means the wells. They are connected to the city. A useless discussion entails that brings us nowhere. So the hag attacks us. She splits into 3. We manage to kill her.
