We send in Raxlin first to scout out the area. He finds a large portal within a big cave. Surounded by several cultists of vecna. We discuss what they might have planned. We utilize the seeming to look like 3 cultists, where Raxlin and Ymir are stacked together as one. Though we do not fool the cultist leader. He orders all cultists back into the portal. And we fight the 2 leaders.

Iro gets focused down by the 2 leaders and he goes down.
After the first leader is dead, the other one espaces. With the use of the amulet of the drunkard and some ale, Iro is healed. We decide to return to Pate. Ymir keeps the bottle and the bag of holding while the other party members do a Short Rest into the bottle of Raxlin.

Ymir in the mean time returns back to the mine. She instructs the Svirfneblin that they might get attacked from 2 sides. She is called princes by a couple of guard. But she does not like that.

We reunite Pate and Jeffrey

We visit Freya and tell them she is being attacked by Vecna cultists from within the mine.
We suggest going into the portal to see what is happening. To keep people from walking away with secrets they can stage some guards at the cave entrance so no one can go into that cave anymore. Leading to protect people from walking off.

Raxlin makes a double and goes with the clone into the portal while he stays with us before the portal. His clone ends up in the astral plane. A large skeleton with a ship to the side of it. And huge angular fish like creatures.

The copy of Raxlin checks what happens if he comes any closer.

He meets Lysan and Zestra. 2 Gith of an astral gallion

It might be the portal changed. And we ended up in a different location. The gith on the ship are traders. The ship is wrecked. They invite us to come to the ship and help them. We discuss what our best course of actions is. As we don't trust the portal not changing on us.

The captain tells us that they have suddenly changed course. The first mate went paranode.
Captain Inda tells Raxlin that she is awaiting their rescuers. When Raxlin mentions Vecna her face changes a little but says she doesn't know anything about that.

We discuss that we need to go into the portal and see what this deal is with this deva. The Gith seem to be waiting

Iro uses the Rod of Seven Parts to commune with a god and ask the following questions

  1. May I ask you a question, yes
  2. Is the portal the same, yes
  3. Is Captain Inda in league with Vecna, yes

Iro knows that there is a time difference on the astral plane. So it might have been weeks ago that the cultists pasted by.

We asked the Gith to convince the other sailors that Captain Inda is no longer a good captain. We in the mean time try to find Figaro the first mate.
We find an orc with a large beard that seems to know Gribkoan. He asks for the chest. Chef Zeff is the cook on this ship. Gribkoan is Chef Zeff's apprentice. He calls Gribkoan idiot a lot.
Gribkoan has visions that the world is ending.

We decide to find the first mate. We go to the lower deck. In the brig we hear a voice from under the floor. His name is Cirit a halfling. He gives us a SECRET. He brings us to the chamber of Figaro. Though there is something keeping us out.

Havoc god

Figaro doesn't want to be helped, he doesn't trust anyone as no one belives him. Though we convince him that we are here to save him. He allows us to enter. He tells us that Captain Inda has crashed into the god. Wants to get rid of the people on the ship and get a special artifact that is inside of the dead god. Might this be a rod piece?

We decide to try and protect everyone by leading them into the force cube of Figaro.
After we'd like to go and confront the captain.
