We convince everyone with the help of Chef Zeff to leave the Astral Plane behind and follow us through the portal towards the Underdark. Figaro doesn't like to join us. As Captain Inda is also with us. Ymir convinces him to join us as he will not survive here alone.
We go through the portal. But the Acolyte is not where we expect him. Freya describes that the portal did weird stuff just like when we exited the portal.
Freya says they have found a giant construct. They like to use it's part. Iro prohibits Freya of using his brother parts.
When we are at the Svirfneblin we get a message. Lady Silverhand asks us to join us in her Sigil Sanctum. We tell here were we are.
Freya likes us to stay for diner and connect with Ymir. But we tell her we don't have time. A portal appears and we enter it. We also ask Captain Inda to join us so we remove the conflict with her previous crew.
Lady Silverhand asks us if we have found rod pieces. We show her the 2 pieces we have. She tells us her wife Malaina knows something about another piece.
Lady Silverhand will take care of the full healing of Captain Inda. We give her the prosthetic wing to give it back when Captain Inda is no longer cursed.
We go towards Malaina's room. We meet a weakened woman in her bath robe. She tells us that she has been in contact with people. She knows one of her contact has a rod piece. Gale of Waterdeep but she lost contact with him. Unrest in Waterdeep, because magical places are being attacks by an unknown source. Guards were killed but no one knows how or why.
She tells us there is several contacts we could visit:

Malaina tells us that Tasha the Witch might be interested in keeping Dazzle as a pet. So we visit Tasha the Witch. Raxlin visits Tasha the Witch and she is very happy to see him. Tasha the Witch wants to speak to Dao. Raxlin uses his name Jack. Tasha the Witch likes to ask about the ruler of Dao. She asks if he is from the Elemental planes. She knows there is a Kahn there that does a lot with devils. She thinks that Dao smells like this Kahn.
We notice that Jack is uncomfortable. Iro questions why he seems to smell like Kahn. Kabril Ali al-Sara al-Zalazil is his real name. Tasha the Witch tells us the following about Kahn:

Raxlin tells us that he regained his memories after he found the lamp with Jack. We have a long discussion about how Raxlin remembered he used to be a dragon. There seems to be something fishy. Iro tells Raxlin he doesn't trust Jack. Raxlin studies the Teleportation Circle in the Sigil Sanctum.
We use a portal to teleport to the tower from Gale of Waterdeep. We arrive in the morning time. It seems quiet, but there is some murmer in the streets. Gribkoan looks through the balcony window and sees everything trashed. He entered and meets at flying cat. It orders Gribkoan to get out.

We visit the Waterdeep University. We are not allowed go visit Omar Elmistar. Tell to send a message to Omar Elmistar of who we are and why we are here. We get a pass to enter and visit him. But when we arrive at his chamber he is frozen in space and there is a Death Knight next to him. We attack him and kill him.
Then we speak with Omar Elmistar. The book that was stolen is very dangerous. The book stolen is the Codex Arcanum which has information on old and forgotten ways of magic and spell casting. The Astral Lance stolen lets you glance into other planes. The Wind Chime is used to defend the city against weather that could attack the city.
Omar Elmistar is able to tell us that the rod piece Gale of Waterdeep had is able to cast a find the path spell.
Omar Elmistar is able to cast speak with death on the Death Knight.

Omar Elmistar thinks the connection between the items is that someone wants to attack the city. He will inform the guards.
We go to the Yawning Portal. We ask about stuff in the docks. People dressed in dark clothing seem to use invisibility. One of the dock workers tells us where that happened.
We go to the docks and find the aliway that was described to us. On the wall is a small marking with the symbol of Vecna

We receive a package from Omar Elmistar containing a message and a key like object. That opens the door.
We enter in a underground cave. There is no light. We find cultist robes within a chest. We steal those and put them on. We open a door where we see light coming from. We see a corpse standing. This is probably a lich. It attacks without question. We kill it but we are hurt.
