We start in the first room where we previously found the robes. Here is a chest that contains several masks. Waterdeep has a hierarchy of lords. The Open Lord shows it's face. Other lords are Masked Lords. They stay in secret. The robes we found have a Vecna like symbol. But instead of an eye in the hand, it contains a gemstone.

The symbol might be because the lich we fought might be a split piece of Vecna that went it own way. We take the masks.

Ymir and Raxlin do a Short Rest of 10 minutes in the lamp of Raxlin. Raxlin discusses with Jack if he can give his real name. He wants to provide that only to Raxlin so after the short rest, Jack tells Raxlin his "real" name.

SECRET: Raxlin knows the real name of Jack

Ymir goes through the papers. They describe how Whisper is done with the plans of Vecna. Suave suggests to follow and then steal Vecna's plans. Whisper is probably the lich. The dead body has a gem for an eye. Obviously Gribkoan mutilates the dead body for anything he can eat.

The next room has alchemical equipment, in a scroll case we find a Scroll of Scying. This might be a good plan to see what Gale of Waterdeep is doing or in what state he is. It might be even better to have Omar Elmistar use the scroll.

In the next hall is a totem with the same symbol with the gem and the floor is littered with bones. Raxlin checks it out and hears whispering. The bones rise and attack.
The bones are killed.

The totem contains a gem and a text saying "Serve not the fake lord of secrets and death. Serve true ascension"

Further up in a room we find a circle drawn on the ground. Raxlin knows this is an anchor point is to summon a pocket dimension .It is holding something within it's dimension. The locked door is protected by a passphrase. On a pedestal used to be a magical thing leaving necromancy aura.

What appears to be is that the task of Vecna used to be to collect items with which you can take over the world. We also find ways how to use a dimensional cell. Either by dispelling or destroying the anchor. With the use of water. Falling to the floor is Gale of Waterdeep. We introduce ourselves and Iro asks about the rod piece.

The rooms begin to tremble and we rush to get outside. Iro first but is surprised and teleported to a beach where he remains incapacitated for a while. The others when they reach the outside find Whisper and Suave back standing strong and they attack us. Suave dies first. But the lich proves to be a bit more difficult. Gribkoan goes down several times. Both died. We loot Suave for a crystal ball.

The gem we looted earlier is the phylactery of the lich. We destroy the gem.

Gale of Waterdeep tells us he was surprised we are looking for the Rod of Seven Parts. He gives us a piece. This piece can cast Find the Path. But he asks us what we know the Rod of Seven Parts does. So we tell him what we know. He is worried that it might release Miska if it is brought back to gather. He tells us he found this piece by using his pin that can locate objects. Gale of Waterdeep gives this pin to Iro.

Iro is worried that the lost items might still be used to do bad stuff to Waterdeep. But after speaking to Gale of Waterdeep our priority is not with finding the items.

We meet Hori-01 a monodron that seems to be created by Hori.
Hori-01 seems evil and tells Hori was also a great ruler. Different as Iro knows him.
We put him into our Bag of Holding
